Casandra LaMotte

Casandra LaMotte made her professional operatic debut as Amelia in Verdi’s Un Ballo in Maschera. While many of Verdi’s heroines have become staples for Casandra, her other operatic credits include Tosca, Marguerite, La Gioconda, Countess Almaviva, Donna Anna, and Kundry in Wagner’s Parsifal. Equally at home on the concert stage, Ms. LaMotte has enjoyed performing with many of the world’s leading conductors. Some of her credits include Messiah, Israel in Egypt, Carmina Burana, Bruckner’s Te Deum, many of Bach’s masterworks including St. Matthew Passion, St. John Passion, Magnificat, and B Minor Mass, and the Requiems of Verdi, Brahms, Mozart, and Faure. Ms. LaMotte has received the honor of being named a District Winner and Regional Finalist in the prestigious Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. Casandra currently resides in New Jersey with her husband, daughter, and two sons where she teaches masterclasses and voice in between performing engagements.
