Ransom G. Bruce

Ransom G. Bruce, tenor, is honored to be making his debut with the Masterwork Chorus. Mr. Bruce has performed in concert at many of New York City’s premier venues, including all three stages at Carnegie Hall. Concert favorites include: Mozart Requiem, Mozart Mass in C Minor, Beethoven Mass in C Major, and Britten’s Saint Nicolas. Mr. Bruce originated the role of Will Graham in the world premiere of Hannibal, The Opera with One World Symphony, where he also sang Alfredo in Die Fledermaus and Bob Boles in Peter Grimes. Other opera credits include: Vogelsang in Mozart’s Der Schauspieldirektor (Garden State Opera); Oronte in Handel’s Alcina (Satori Opera, NYC); The Beast in Beauty and the Beast, and Little Bat in Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah (Dicapo Opera Theatre, NYC); and Remarkable Theater Brigade’s Opera Shorts in New York and on tour. Mr. Bruce has sung with the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players, Off-Broadway, and in numerous cabaret productions. Mr. Bruce lives in Brooklyn, NY.
